Grievance Redressal Committee
The Grievance Redressal System is an integral component of effective administration, ensuring a safe and satisfactory environment for all members of the college community. In accordance with UGC guidelines, CTIHM, Shahpur College has established a Grievance Redressal Committee tasked with addressing concerns raised by both staff and students. Since the college's inception, the Committee has operated under the direct oversight of the principal. Grievances received by the principal are directed to the appropriate Committee members, who address them based on their severity. The Committee is committed to fostering a harmonious and supportive atmosphere for all individuals involved, continuously striving to resolve issues and promote well-being.
Functions of the Grievance Redressal Committee:
- To receive written complaints from students and staff regarding the system.
- To establish and execute a system to manage the grievances that have been reported.
- If required, to transmit the findings to the Management for subsequent action.
- To attentively listen, document, and review the grievances submitted by both staff and students, taking prompt and essential actions as needed.
- To address the grievances according to their credibility and seriousness of the concerns raised.
- To present the grievances to the relevant department, which may encompass areas such as maintenance, transportation, academics, amenities, and others.
- To organize regular meetings to review the status of grievance resolutions.
- To conduct regular follow-ups on these issues until they are ultimately resolved.
- To uphold strict confidentiality as required.

This committee has been established in accordance with the directives outlined by AICTE and UGC concerning grievance resolution mechanisms. The committee's responsibilities include addressing issues such as:
- The committee will examine concerns pertaining to both students and staff, encompassing areas such as maintenance, transportation, academics, amenities, and more.
- Admissions will be based on merit as determined by the admission policy of CTIHM.
- Scholarships will be awarded in accordance with both merit and the government scholarship policy (PMS).
- Ensure adherence to the institution's declared admission policy, with zero irregularities in the process.
- To address grievances related to any gender, community, caste, or religion.
- To assist in transcending cultural obstacles.
- To aid in overcoming language barriers and enhance placement opportunities.
- To cultivate a supportive environment for comprehensive education.
- To address concerns related to student grievances.
