Diploma in Food Production is a 1 and a half-year skill-oriented program designed to provide foundational knowledge and hands-on training in culinary arts, kitchen operations, and food safety.
The course equips students with essential techniques in Indian and continental cuisine, preparing them for entry-level positions in hotels, restaurants, and catering establishments.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be aware of the Diploma in Food Production eligibility criteria as well as all course specifics in order to get admission to the programme. This programme is open to anybody who has completed a 10+2 or equivalent with English as one of the topics and received a 50 per cent aggregate grade.
Program Outcomes
Upon completion of the Diploma in Food Production, students will acquire fundamental culinary skills, knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety, and the ability to prepare a variety of Indian and continental dishes. They will be well-prepared for entry-level roles such as commis chef or kitchen assistant in hotels, restaurants, and food service establishments, with a strong foundation for future career growth in the culinary industry.
