Introduction

B.Voc. in Fashion Design and Garment Technology is an undergraduate skill-based program focused on developing creative, technical, and entrepreneurial competencies in the field of fashion and apparel. The duration of the course is 3 years spread across 6 semesters. The program is designed to provide practical and industry-oriented knowledge of fashion design, garment construction, textile studies, pattern making, draping, apparel production, and merchandising. Students are trained in design development, fabric selection, color combinations, surface ornamentation, and the use of modern tools and technology in garment manufacturing. The minimum eligibility criteria required for this course is that the candidate must have cleared 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board.
